"Bloomington DA Won’t Arrest White Nationalists For Lynching" in Indiana, US, 60 miles from Zionsville,
History of the Klan and racism in Indiana is very extensive and intense. White supremacism is not just a Southern problem.

Even the great and heroic revolutionary Lenin was wrong about America, read his comment: " But what a pedant, what an idiot would anyone be to deny on these grounds the immense, world-historic, progressive and revolutionary significance of the American Civil War of 1863-65!"
This is from his "Letter To American Workers"

Was it a step further along the path of a progressive history, rich with possibilities yes. Has not those potentials long been proven fruitless? Was not Lenin exaggerating its real significance even in the context of Lenin's own era. The state of American Blacks had fallen to the level where they were basically reenslaved. That White workers were compliant with the reenslavement of their Black comrades and thus the American proletariat were not deserving of all the glory Lenin was heaping upon them. If Lenin had any real understanding of the American working class he would have been quaking with fear.
Lenin's comment on the American revolution is even more confusing. " That was the war the American people waged against the British robbers who oppressed America and held her in colonial slavery" . When what the Americans were really fighting for was against the trends against slavery which was growing among the so-called British robbers. They were also fighting for the right to rob Native Americans of their property, culture and lives. Those British "robbers" were able to eliminate slavery decades before the Americans and without a brutal civil war. They also held treaties with those Natives which restrain greedy and brutal land speculators like George Washington from invading their lands. Treaties not made for altruistic reasons but to prevent the French of offering Native Americans another ally against England.
Lenin was not a perfect human being. We are wrong to deify him. Many people are responsible for the monster the US has turned into. Marx, Engels and Lenin, etc.... are not excused from blame for wholly irresponsible and opportunistic self serving comments regarding pandering to the few American workers who were able to offer these respective comrades succor. It is clear that Marx, Engels and Lenin thought first of their own working classes before pandering to the vanity of semi educated American workers. Engels of all people should have been sensitive of how important the colonial issue was to respective oppressed minorities because of his close relationship with his Irish wives. He knew very well that English workers were saddled with their dependence on the exploitation of Irish workers. That their corruption and resulting reactionary politics were a product of these hundreds of years of exploiting Irish workers. What is true of Irish workers vis-a-vis English workers, is far greater and powerfully true of White American workers with respect not just Black workers but every other minority.
