The first instance of nuclear terrorism whose purpose was the intimidation of the Soviet Union. It created the basis for the over 100 threats to use nuclear weapons if countries did not satisfy and protect US economic interests.
But the most audacious use of the nuking was using it to intimidate the liberal wing of Imperialism headed by Robert Kennedy to accept the murder of his Presidential brother JFK or else Cuba would have been blamed openly and events would have been allowed to have an life of their own.
It was not a coincidence why Oswald was placed in so many associations with Cuba, Soviet Union and Marxism. Views that anyone can hear directly for yourself on youtube in an interview that what a very youthful and insignificant Oswald was suspiciously able to obtain on a capitalist TV station in New Orleans
Nuclear terrorism have also influenced leading liberal ideologists like Chomsky and Hedges by creating an horror in them of the use of violence in the armed struggle. It has led to the complete pacification of the working class. No more sit ins, no more civil disobedience on picket lines, no more sabotage of production, etc... Worst of all is the total lack of disciplining of class traitors at any levels in both working class institutions or related political institutions.
Agent provocateurs and openly anti workers ideologues are free to do great damage to the working class without any fear. All this is due to great terror and even horror that felt by the leading liberal ideologies, like Chomsky, MLK, Hedges, Paul Street, etc... This paralyzing fear has penetrated deep in the lower ranks of ideologists. It has of course penetrated the most lowest ranks of the working class.
Thousands of US soldiers have been directly irradiated by nuclear bomb blasts AND NOTHING HAPPEN TO MILITARY OFFICERS, POLITICIANS OR RULING CLASS! Even John Wayne a loyal dog of US Imperialism was irradiated on the movie set of the movie "Genghis Khan" along with the entire cast. Most died prematurely of cancer AND NOTHING HAPPEN TO MILITARY OFFICERS, POLITICIANS OR RULING CLASS!
Of course the irony that the movie was about one of the leading and most successful Imperialist mass murderers in history, Genghis Khan is amazing!! The Duke was of course playing the great villain himself.
One might tend to believe that the American Working class has been transformed into class of eunuchs so peacefully do they struggle.
There are some minor exceptions like the Black Panthers, Malcolm X, Weathermen underground, etc... Note that all of their actions were mostly defensive in nature.
The class struggle has devolved into pamphlet passing, eating milk and cookies at FBI monitored Quaker meeting, marching in police approved areas or pens and of course the only solution for all our ills voting for the Democratic party, one more time, one more time, one more time, one more time, etc... The truly radical and more courageous vote Democratic party lite, i.e. the Green party. Another party that abhors the class struggle.
